About the Conference

The Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø (UNAM) invites you to participate in its 3rd Biannual Conference focusing on advancing Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). This two-day hybrid event (online and face-to-face) aims to bring together educators, researchers, students, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange ideas and share best practices that strengthen the link between higher education and the world of work.

We invite submissions of abstracts for presentations, posters, and workshops that align with the conference themes listed below. Submissions should offer innovative insights, practical applications, and/or research findings that contribute to the growing body of knowledge on WIL in Namibia and globally.

WIL empowers students, graduates, and institutions to develop multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial, and future-ready skills. It fosters life-long learning, bridges academic knowledge and workplace practice, and encourages engagement with the 4IR, AI integration, sustainability, and inclusive development. This conference is a platform to reflect on and shape the future of WIL in Namibia and beyond.
